Smog Check Station Elk Grove

All Pro Smog is a locally run, BAR-licensed STAR station in Elk Grove. We built the shop around one idea: an honest, fast smog check with no upsell. Because we’re test-only — we inspect and certify but don’t do repairs — the only outcome we’re working toward is a fair result and a passing certificate filed with the DMV.

Are you a test-only station?

Yes. We’re licensed to inspect and certify only, not to repair — which means we have no financial reason to fail your vehicle.

Yes — we operate under BAR License #312315. You can verify it on the California Department of Consumer Affairs website.

What vehicles do you handle?

All light-duty vehicle types: cars, SUVs, trucks, vans and RVs, plus hybrids and diesels, for every DMV smog requirement.

Why choose an independent test-only station?

Because we can’t sell you repairs, there’s no conflict of interest — you get a straight inspection and, when you pass, a certificate filed straight to the DMV.
